Subversive
Subversive clearly means what it has always meant; that to "subvert" something was to destroy or undermine morals of allegiance, to corrupt, overthrow completely, turn upside down.
Semantics
Semantics simply means the study or science of meaning in language.
That is; what is the particular meaning of a particular word.
Gay
Gay was a fine word, and can still be read in older books with the true meaning intact, or an older black and white movie.
The meaning of the word "Gay" as read or heard today has been totally subverted to mean nearly the opposite of its traditional meaning.
Slogans such as "Gay Rights" bombard our living room on the nightly television news station.
Ironically, we "DO" have such a thing as "Gay Rights" - the right to pursue "happiness", as provided in our constitution.
But that's not what those news casters are speaking of.
"Gay" today, means sexual perversion. We are being increasingly indoctrinated into seeing sex perversion as an "accepted" practice - under the guise of a once "accepted" word: "Gay".
Sex perversion, under any bogus name, is nothing short of anti-social aberrant behavior at best, and sickening to the decency of mankind and one of the worst offenses to God and nation at worst!
Only about 3 decades ago, sex perversion was a serious crime - a Felony. And on the law books of most states, it still is!

That's easy. They merely want to "subvert" our society just like they did the word "Gay". They want for society to accept their sexually perverted behavior as something "normal".
They claim they want equal rights. Nonsense! They already have that under our constitution.
They even now want to be able to marry each other? Again, nonsense! What would the preacher say at the ceremony, "I now pronounce you man and husband?" "May all your troubles be little ones?" Marriage is for a "man" and a "woman" - PERIOD! If they want to live with each other, practicing their perversion, there are partnership contract laws which can address their property rights. Their problem is not property, it's "acceptance of society".
I've heard it said that if God does not destroy San Francisco soon He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah. That's probably not too far from the truth!
What then, should a Christian, or even just a normal U.S. Citizen, be doing about such behavior?
I suggest:
(1) Quit using the word "gay" to mean anything other than what it has always meant! If we want to describe a sexually perverted person, use a correct word which properly identifies their actions.

Oh, you may be thinking! You can't call them "queer". Why Not?
Here is what the word "queer" means: Deviating from the expected or normal; strange; peculiar.
That sounds pretty accurate to me!
Well then, why can't we use the term "fag or faggot? Nope! That word is used as a slang word to define a person rather than his/her behavior. It is not an accurate definition, but pure derogatory slang.
I do not use the word "fag or fagot or faggot for the same reason I won't use the word "Gay". Neither accurately defines a person's behavior.
A person who consistently lies, can accurately be called a "liar".
A person who murders is called a "murderer".
A thief is a thief.
A person who practices sex perversion is; a sex pervert. Or, if you like, a homo sexual,
or a queer. These words or terms accurately define a particular behavior.
Oh, and what about sex perversion as something other than a "behavior"? Nonsense! Sex perversion is totally "behavior". Nobody is "born" to be a liar, nor a thief, nor a murderer, nor a sex pervert!
How should a Christian treat a Sex Pervert?
First, realize that they are just us. We are all sinners, and fall short of perfection. But as Christians we know where to turn to be released from our bondage to sin. You treat a sex pervert like any other sinner who has not yet found Salvation in Jesus. You have compassion and love for this lost soul. You tell him or her about our Lord. You provide your personal testimony, as well as God's Word in Scripture.
You "DO NOT" go around thumping them on the head with a Bible. Put into practice what our Lord has taught us.
But do not join them in their quest to justify their sin. Like the liar, the murderer, the thief, love the sinner but hate their sin.
It's your "duty" to share Christ with them. Tell them "once". If they don't listen, tell them again. If they still don't listen, walk away, and pray for them.
